External accounts Compounder depends on. Every secret is encrypted at rest and is never returned to this browser; saving a credential never contacts the provider on its own.
One OAuth client powers two separate things: signing users in, and sending the product’s email. They share these credentials but are authorized independently — configuring the client enables sign-in immediately, while sending also needs the mailbox connected once.
Create it in Google Cloud → APIs & Services → Credentials → OAuth client ID → Web application, and enable the Gmail API in the same project. Saving applies immediately — no restart needed.

Delivered over SSL/TLS through smtp.gmail.com:465, authenticated by the Google client above — connect the mailbox there and no app password is needed. The From address must match the connected account, or be verified under Gmail’s “Send mail as”.

Optional provider feeds. Compounder degrades gracefully when one is missing rather than blocking a section.

How often market data is refreshed, and how finely its history is recorded.
Three separate dials. Only the last one changes how much history is stored — the displayed price stays as fresh as the first two make it.
How often the server asks the market data provider for a new quote. Applies to every user. Shorter means fresher prices and more provider requests.
Minimum gap between two stored history rows for the same symbol. This does not affect the live price — only how finely the intraday chart is sampled. Off records every quote and grows the table by roughly 209,000 rows a day.
How often this browser re-reads prices from the server. Stored on this device only, so it does not affect anyone else.
